Here's exactly what you'll receive when you enrol...
Around 1,800 years ago, the Daoist originators of Kunlun Dayan Qigong, devised their style from the movements and qualities of the highly revered Da Yan / Wild Goose (thought to be the Bar Headed Goose). Designed into these movements were also the principles of Yì jīng 易經 the Bāguà 八卦, Jīngluò 經絡 and ancient Chinese medicine theory. Hence, a 128-movement form was created. The 27th Generation Grand Master Yang Mei June, later split the form into two halves, to make it easier to learn.
The Wild Goose Qigong 1st 64 (also known as ‘Front 64’) is part of the Foundational Dong Gong / dynamic exercises within the system. Based upon the Later-Heaven Bagua, it consists of 64 flowing movements and works on postnatal Qi issues. It is, in itself, a very comprehensive gong, suitable for everyone. When performed the 1st 64 it takes around 10-minutes to complete. Commencing Week 1, this is a 12-week course, with new video training being released each week. Currently 70+ videos, totalling 4+ hrs.
The Wild Goose Wu Xing Jing Gong is the fundamental Jing Gong / meditation practice in the Wild Goose system. I prefer to think of this practice as ‘Cultivating Stillness’. You can practice this simply sitting on a chair. Jing Gong should be practiced in tandem with the dynamic Dong Gong exercises, as they mutually reinforce and promote the cultivation and internal mobilization of Qi. Wu Xing Jing Gong comprises five different methods, which can achieve ‘Small & Large Heavenly Circuits’ and strong external Qi fields. The first two of these methods are taught in this course; the Natural Qi Sinking Method | 自然沉气法 and Silently Spoken Qi Cultivation Method | 默念养气法. Contemporary research and neuroscience further recognize the benefits of regular meditation including; increased immunity, empathy, focus; improved cardiovascular health and stress reduction. Commencing Week 13.
The Wild Goose Pai Da Gong (also know as ‘Patting Gong' or Body Building by Patting) is an essential shorter exercise (4-mins) and can be learned independently of the 1st and 2nd 64. Its moves are relatively less technical and physically demanding, making suitable for all ages and abilities, particularly for the elderly or those with a weak constitution. Pai Da Gong’s is a very effective and comprehensive gong - working Yin & Yang channels of legs and arms, Dai Mai, San Jiao. It can benefit lumbo-sacral issues, sciatic problems and neuropathy of the limbs. Patting is great to clear stagnation in the body. It helps promote blood and lymph circulation, bone density and more… Commencing Week 21: this is a 3-week course, with new video training being released each week.
The Wild Goose Kidney Gong (or Kidney Strengthening Gong) is part of a set of exercises practiced specifically to nourish or treat particular Zang Fu / ‘organs’ of the body. These include; Heart, Stomach, Liver and Kidney. The Kidney ‘patterns’ (as related to in Qigong and Traditional Chinese Medicine theory) is always deficient - exacerbated by overwork, stress, lack of sleep and ageing. Symptoms; This is a moving exercise (Dong Gong) is designed to treat the above, strengthening the Kidney by way of tapping Kidney Shu points, Ming Men, whilst also nourishing the Lungs. Commencing Week 29: this is a 3-week course, with new video training being released each week.
The Wild Goose Qigong 2nd 64 (also known as ‘Back 64’), continues from where the 1st 64 (see above) leaves off and completes the foundational Dong Gong exercise. Its 64 movements are based on the Later-Heaven Bagua and works on deeper prenatal issues in the body. Whist, generally speaking the 1st 64 gathers and builds Qi, the 2nd 64 involves larger Qi field movements and expelling actions. You will preferably completed and trained the 1st 64 for 6-months before starting the 2nd 64 training. Commencing Week 37: this is a 12-week course, with new video training being released each week.

"I'd recommend Gregg to anyone interested in learning authentic Wild Goose (Dayan) Qigong. He is a good instructor. He has good knowledge of Dayan Qigong and TCM and is both calm and patient when he teaches. After spending a couple of years learning with Gregg, he helped me to go to China to learn from his teachers. It was something I'd always dreamed of! Dayan Qigong is one of the few qigong systems that still carries a lot of depth! It never seizes to amaze me as I continue to explore its movements and teachings! "
"I am a health care practitioner and have always had an interest in Chinese Martial Arts and Qigong. Having two children now, I really appreciate the time I have with them and want to be agile and able to continue to be an active part of their lives for years to come. This pushed me towards Wild Goose Qigong.
Practicing Wild Goose Qigong has much improved my stamina, confidence and overall well-being. I enjoy training and feel invigorated even after a short practice.
1-to-1 Online Coaching Sessions with Gregg have been great as they really pointed out where I had made errors, improved my skill and provided great motivation to take it on to the next level.
I highly recommend Gregg and his online Da Yan Academy - the videos are great and the explanations of the moves really easy to follow. "
